Education is a priority in the West End

The West End currently has two school districts offering pre-kindergarten to 12th-grade education.

Both work hard to maintain quality education through experienced teachers, current curriculum and industry best practices – all backed by parent and community involvement.

NORWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT

Norwood School District is a public school district located in Norwood, CO. It has 243 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. According to state test scores, 12% of students are at least proficient in math and 22% in reading. Norwood Public Schools is Accredited with Distinction by the Colorado Department of Education, earning this accreditation in 2018 and 2019.

WEST END PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT

West End Public School District RE-2 covers approximately 1,000 square miles. The current (2019) district enrollment is 236 students in grades PreK-12. There are 129 students in grades PreK-6 and 107 students in grades 7-12.
